Sacred time

As salaam alaikum Reader,

I pray this message finds you well.

We are in a sacred time right now - the month of Rajab. Rajab is said to be the month of returning to Allah. Like all sacred months it is a time when good deeds weigh heavier, and to sin is frowned upon more severely than in other times.

I know we tend to think that time is linear and that the day and night are split into 24 even pieces, the years and months split evenly as well, and that time exists in a world of simple math. But in actuality the reality of time is far beyond that. Allah expands some time and contracts others. He singles out some times of the day, month, year, as sacred and special and calls us to pay attention to the overflowing mercy and bounty to be found within. Rajab is such a time. We are called to be present in this time and space and to shift what we are doing and put extra effort to return to Allah in these precious moments for the limited time they are with us.

I am holding a 5 Day Challenge , Rajab Reset from February 6-10. Rajab Reset is our time to be present and persistent in what we are pouring into, and sending forward to the one thing promised to us, the day of meeting our Lord. We have a part to do, prepare for the meeting with our Lord. His part is in showing us what we have sent forward and compensating us through His endless mercy and grace.

This is our time to get serious and push. Rajab Reset starts in just a few days. See you then insha'Allah

As salaam alaikum Reader, I pray this message finds you well. I want to share with you that I've always felt there was something special about women that Allah has kept to Himself...and has left purposefully somewhat clouded in mystery in this world. Allah is very specific about how Adam was created, but for women He tells us only that we were created from the rib of Adam. Allah is very specific about a mans role in a marriage, as maintainer, provider, and protector; but for women He is more...
