As salaam alaikum Reader,

I pray this message finds you well.

Really quickly … reflecting on the sleepers in surah kahf (chapter 18 of the Quran). When our young men, the sleepers in the cave wake up they decide to send one among them to the town to get some food.
​

Instructions and thought process was very clear and understandable … take this money, get some clean and pure food, make sure no one notices you. Because if they do find out about you they will kill us all or worse yet turn us towards their religion and then truly we would all be of the losers.
​

Perfect plan. Reasonable thought process. Good intentions. It all made sense.
​

But…

But Allah had a different plan. What they thought was the worst possible thing to happen (getting found out )… was exactly the thing Allah wanted to happen.
​

They saw only two possibilities. Be left alone to worship Allah. Or be found out and destroyed one way or another.
​

But wow… Allah knew what they did not.
​

He made them be found out. He made them a sign to their people and all people until the end of time.
​

Their people actually built a masjid over the place they were. By them their people returned to pure monotheistic faith after witnessing the miracle Allah manifested at their hands.
​

Sometimes Allah may elevate us by way of the very thing we are so sure would bring our destruction.
​

Because He knows.
​

And we know not.
​

Trust in Allah no matter what looks like what. Have faith and know that your prayers are always being answered. He is Al-mujeeb

Never doubt because of how things may look or seem moment to moment. Keep your eyes and hearts on Allah.
​

Truly His plan for you and us all is better than we could ever imagine or plan for ourselves.
​
