Courage and curiosity
Alhamdulillah wa salaat wa salaam ala Rasulillah
As salaam alaikum Reader,
As usual, I pray this email finds you in a state of faith and good health.
A quick message today about courage and curiosity.
I invite you to reflect on this Hadith…
Suhayb ibn Sinān Ar-Rūmi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How wonderful the affair of the believer is! Indeed, all of his affairs are good for him. This is for no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is grateful to Allah, which is good for him. And if something bad happens to him, he has patience, which is good for him."

If this is true … and we know it is because the messenger of Allah, our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speaks the truth… then we have only one concern-to cultivate our faith and to stay on the path of Allah as believers.
Focusing on Allah and strengthening our faith is THE foundation and ‘secret’ to success in this life and the next.
Now that we know that for the believer all things are working in our favor… what will you be brave enough to try?
How can you use your curiosity as a means of unlocking the good Allah has already planned for you ?
Get married ? Speak up? Go to school? Start a business? Change jobs? Travel? …
All of these things take courage. Living a full life takes courage. The thing you are yearning to do but scared to try takes courage. And ‘they’ say that success isn’t guaranteed…
But that’s not what our Prophet says…
You will never lose for trying so long as your foundation is faith and trust in Allah.
Believe our Prophet more than your fears.
Trust Allah more than you trust yourself.
Allah says He answers the caller who calls upon Him.
Strengthen your faith. Draw closer to your Lord. Be courageous. Be curious.
May Allah give you true success and openings in all of your endeavors. He is the opener and the only one to give success.
